AT A GLANCE...

Jackson County Systems of Care (SOC) is not just a group or team but rather a family of social service organizations, local government, schools, places of worship, our neighbors, anyone invested in the lives of all residents across the Kansas City Metro area. This family has grown to include in 2024, "Children and Youth in Disasters" (CYID), a group dedicated to helping children successfully emerge from all types of traumas and disasters.  The SOC and CYID have combined into a strong, unified partnership as we come together and create initiatives and programs that promote sustained hope, change, and independence for people that need it the most, but often receive the least assistance.  Not trying is trying to fail and the SOC will never not try.

"All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence."
